Louis #2 - The Palace of Waterbury Connecticut.
This theater was opened in april of 1922 as a silent movie house and for vaudeville. the cost to build it was one million dollars, it has cost 33 million to restore. the restoration took 4 years and is extremely accurate to how it was when it first opened. the theater was closed for almost 20 years and open to the elements. the cost to rebuild was financed by the State of Connecticut and numerous corporations and patrons. it is truly a magnificent sight to behold. as as a side note, my very first job when i was 16 was at this theater.
