If you'd like your images to "Pop Out" of a textured mat or a plain frame, and you have Photoshop 6.0 or later, these actions can help you. Textured Mat PopOut
Untextured Frame PopOut
Subtle PopOut This action draws a thin line inside your image wherever you want it, and allows you to indicate which parts of the image will overlap, or Pop Out of the line.

After creating a PopOut, you can optionally place an outer frame around it using any frame actions you have ( such as our ShutterFreaks frame actions). If you intend to do this, you might find that it improves the appearance if you crop off the outer beveled edge of the mat before framing.
