Need help deciding which frame or mat actions you need? Here's a table that will help you.

This Photoshop mat action set contains actions which can create virtual chiseled mats for your high-resolution photographs, with mats and cores in colors of your choosing. It is intended to supplement ACs Big Frame actions, although it will work just fine without them.

• Mats (with or without texture) with cores optimized for dark colors
• Mats (with or without texture) with cores optimized for light colors
• Mats (with or without texture) where you choose the core color
• ** New ** Extra-Wide and Asymmetrical Mats (with or without texture)
• Any combination you want

Notes:

1. These actions support all aspect ratios: portrait, landscape, and square. If you wish, you can change the width of your mats. Best of all, you can combine them to create truly unique mats of your own design. For instance, use a tiny chiseled mat of one color, and then a medium chiseled mat of another color.
   
   
2. The mat actions work best on high-resolution photos, NOT photos that have been sized for the web. However, you can mat a high-resolution image and then resize it for the web. Bear in mind, though, that matting a large image takes longer than matting a web-sized image.
