A collage of images taken over the nearly 4-hour period

Armed with a tripod-mounted camera and a comfortable lawn chair, I spent the night watching the moon. My husband stayed with me for a while, and the neighbors came out for a few minutes at totality, but for the most part, I was alone with the moon and the night critters. I saw a family of raccoons run by in the light of a street lamp, and while I didn't see it, I knew that a skunk was nearby, and that he was startled by something :) At one point, a metor streaked across the sky. It was a night I'll always remember.
