Photoshop 6, 7, CS, or later Websized and High-Resolution Images

The photo matte actions are designed to create a matte or frame from the photo itself. They will work in Photoshop 6.0 and later.

Here are some of the mattes you can make:
  1. Darkened and Half-Darkened Mattes
  2. Lightened Mattes
  3. Normal Mattes
  4. Complex Mattes

The actions are provided in both full-sized and web-sized versions.



Darkened Matte

You select the area that will appear inside the matte. As you see, you can make an asymmetric matte if you want.

The Half-Darkened Matte is similar, but not quite as dark. 		Darkened Matte
